With its premiere global scheduled for the <strong>April 30, 2025<\/strong>the series promises to be one of the productions most prominent of the year. Below, we explore how you carried out the adaptation of this masterpiece of comics to the television format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within days of the premiere Netflix published a look at the behind-the-scenes of this ambitious production based on the story of Hector G. Oesterheld. Directed by Bruno Stagnaro and starring Ricardo Dar\u00edn as John Saved, the series was adapted to a Buenos Aires today, with cell phones and Metrob\u00fas, but keeping the original essence: a history of collective resistance against the unknown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stagnaro confessed that he was inspired by his own childhood as a reader of the work, and consulting the comic during the filming in order to be faithful. In addition, Mart\u00edn Oesterheld, grandson of the author, actively participated in the production, highlighting the ethical commitment of his grandfather with the adventure and the hero group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The series seeks not to nostalgic, but contemporary. According Stagnaro, <em>The Eternaut<\/em> it was conceived at the time as a \u201cparallel world\u201d and move it to the present was the best form of respect that spirit: the viewer to feel that this story can happen to you today, in your town, in your neighborhood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Update the ambiance and fidelity to the original work<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The series, directed by Bruno Stagnaro, it is suggested to move the original story of the \u201950s, a Buenos Aires contemporary. Oesterheld, grandson of the original author, participated as a creative consultant.
